Impartiality Policy
Glocert International is committed to impartiality in all its activities related to testing, inspection, and certification. We recognize the importance of impartiality in providing reliable and accurate results to our clients. We are committed to ensuring that our decisions are based on objective evidence and are free from bias, conflict of interest, and undue influence.
This Impartiality Policy is designed to provide a framework for establishing and maintaining impartiality in all our activities related to testing, inspection, and certification. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and third parties involved in the testing, inspection, and certification process.
The objectives of this Impartiality Policy are to:
- Ensure that all decisions related to testing, inspection, and certification are based on objective evidence.
- Ensure that all employees, contractors, and third parties involved in the testing, inspection, and certification process are free from bias, conflict of interest, and undue influence.
- Ensure that all information provided to clients is accurate, reliable, and free from bias.
- Ensure that all complaints and appeals related to testing, inspection, and certification are handled in an impartial manner.
- Ensure that all employees, contractors, and third parties involved in the testing, inspection, and certification process are aware of their responsibilities to maintain impartiality.
- Ensure that all employees, contractors, and third parties involved in the testing, inspection, and certification process are provided with the necessary training and resources to maintain impartiality.
- Ensure that all employees, contractors, and third parties involved in the testing, inspection, and certification process are required to disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their impartiality.
- Ensure that all employees, contractors, and third parties involved in the testing, inspection, and certification process are required to sign a declaration of impartiality.
Glocert International as an independent testing laboratory (TL), Inspection Body (IB), Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) and Recognised Training Provider (RTP) is aware of the importance of independence and impartiality in carrying out activities related to testing, inspection and certification of products and management systems. Our goal and priority are always to proceed transparently, assess and decide objectively and without any conflict of interest.
To achieve these resolutionsand for the fulfilment of the requirements for impartiality and independence of the Glocert International, the following principles are put in place:
- Take decisions on the certification of products and management systems, only based on objective and professional assessments.
- Inform interested parties of its action, and transparent procedures to submit all information related to Glocert International, which represents the parties,
- Not certify activities of another certification authority, aimed at conformity assessment,
- Analyse review and take action on potential threats to the impartiality, not to consult,
- Conformity assessments, respectively not to carry out internal audits in companies which are clients or potential clients of Glocert International, published sequence of steps and certification process, environmental audit and verification, as well as the results of the decision on the certification and validation,
- Effectively respond to complaints and deal with them appropriately,
- Handle confidential information from customers, while appropriate to balance the principle of openness and confidentiality in dealing with and responding to complaints,
- Promotes the activities of the certifying authority in relation to consultancy work on conformity assessment,
- A prerequisite for the success or other economic advantage of a particular certification consultancy company,
- Analyse and take appropriate measures to protect the impartiality if it is threatened by the activities of other persons, bodies or organizations,
- Comply with ethical principles in all activities related to business Glocert International
- Maintain partnerships with each customer in accordance with the principle that the certification process and its results, including the Decision are not dependent on the financial interests of the company,

Glocert International's activities are governed in a non-discriminatory manner. Glocert International is independent of other companies and any other pressures that could affect the results of the certification process. The certification authority is responsible in full for decisions regarding testing, inspection, and certification, including the issuance, maintenance, reconstruction, enlargement, reduction, suspension and revocation of certification.
Glocert International as a Conformity Assessment Body declares that it is impartial in carrying out activities related to conformity assessment, managing conflicts of interest and ensures objectivity activities related to conformity assessment.
The Conformity Assessment Body shall, before entering a contract with the client audit identify, analyse and, where possible of the documented conflict of interests caused, including any conflicts caused its relations. If any rising concerns about fairness, the certifying authority can document and demonstrate how to remove or minimize these concerns.
We hereby commit ourselves to neutrality in the activities of certification to the fact that we do not engage in any manufacturing, commercial or financial activities that might compromise the independence of the company, or succumb to any economic, commercial or political pressure.
We also declare that the inspection, testing, certification, and training services of Glocert International is available for all organizations and businesses regardless of orientation. Those who want to work at Glocert International must first be identified with this policy and leadership must create favourable conditions and provide necessary resources to act fully in accordance with it.
This Impartiality Policy is supported by a set of procedures and guidelines that define the requirements for maintaining impartiality in all activities related to testing, inspection, and certification. These documents are designed to provide detailed guidance on how to identify, manage, and mitigate conflicts of interest and ensure that all decisions are based on objective evidence.
All employees, contractors, and third parties are required to comply with this Impartiality Policy and all related procedures and guidelines. Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract.
This Impartiality Policy is reviewed and updated on a regular basis to ensure that it remains relevant and effective. All changes to this policy are communicated to all employees, contractors, and third parties to ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities to maintain impartiality.
